Back in band, and it feels good to play on my trumpet again! Got many warm welcome-backs. Thank you all. =) But there were many unfamiliar faces too. And it feels different without the previous year 3s... I miss Shirley. And Stella. Kmiang and Yvonne weren't around but I guess they'll be back soon. Couldn't join Amelia and Liting for supper, oh yes, and Amelia's bro!

Someone should have told me earlier that he's your brother, Amelia!

And Liting, no, I'm not on a diet...

I attended a scrapbook making workshop with Xueting. Thanks for the company! I was so happy to have found someone interested in scrapaholic! =)

We learnt techniques like framing, embossing, working with embellishments and double mounting, much of them comes with common sense though. Wouldn't really say I learnt much because I feel that the outcome depends alot on creativity (which I think I'm so lacking). Haha... Apart from the amount spent to attend the workshop, it was enjoyable nonetheless! Just too costly a hobby - anyone wanna sponsor? =p

The evening was then spent with 08/04 peeps! Didn't managed to take a group photo, but I have one with dear Sirong! Nice red cushiony background at Big O. And the chocolate sauce in those canisters were so tempting for takeaways... right Nad, Rong, Rach? =)

Thurs
Met Viv bestie for Ajisen. We have not met for the longest time and I missed her so muchie! Just spent hours talking over lunch and well, after. And she got me some lovely souvenirs from Korea! Oh yes, she looks sooo Korean now, with her Korean perms! Haha, forgot to take pics..

Still looking as gorgeous as ever. Now more head-turning with your perms and Korean outfits? Haha.. Thanks for the wonderful time dear! See you again after your DnD!

Hope Diana darling's feeling much better now. Poor girl had food poisoning and couldn't join us for our 08 gathering. Get well soon kays?

Cell was at my house. In the end, only Merilynn and Yvonne came. But we had a great time sharing. I've not seen Meiyi since she stopped coming to church. She's a big girl now, having loads of fun at Laselle and doing what she enjoys. Still as funny and fun-loving as ever, if not more.

Finding the hole in the grass patch of your school, that was hilarious. All the best in your studies girl and see you in church next Sunday! =)

Good ole' times

We used to listen to this song and sing it about almost anywhere around tj. People around us must have thought we were nuts! I'm so missing those times together. Miss you all loads!

Catch up

Those who haven't done so, you so have to catch this movie! Love the piano battle, and secret being played in the old music room! Nimble fingers, if that's what it's called. Nice plot. Chou's really talented. I wished I could play even a tenth as well as that.

Ofcourse, the company was great, thanks Nad! And we got complimentary passes, due to a slight glitch, where the movie stopped and the lights came on for about 1 minute or so. But we certainly didn't mind. Next up... Hairspray! See you next wed Muffin, with the rest of the 08gang, and Mel my eating buddy's coming back!

Courtesy of Nad that set me thinking - why do ladies like to cross their legs? Something that comes naturally? Because we were taught that it is the proper way or lady-like way to sit? Because it is inappropriate not to do so? Because it is more decent esp. when wearing skirts? More charming? More comfortable? But I guess people tend to do things that they are unaware of. Like when Nad suddenly asked me that question, I didn't even take notice that I was sitting cross-legged. Food for thought. Now I'm passing it on to you... the wonder of our Creator's intricate design, something that I will never be able to comprehend.

Met up with primary school classmates from 6H was absolutely fun and we had a good time catching up. Those present were made up of Weisi, Zhen Chang, Yuzhi, Alvin Tan, Dawn, Liyu, Sheralyn and Yuan Qing. All pretty much are and looked the same. Flipping through photos and reliving past memories over supper were good laughs. Thanks Zhen Chang and Yuzhi that blanja-ed all of us for supper! Looking forward to the many more gatherings to come! =)

The familiar scent

The exams are finally over! yays! =) And there are already so many things planned!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to my Big Daddy in Heaven, for being the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, guiding me through. I used to get 'temporary insomia' the night before exams. But that was last time. Not anymore.=) The Lord gives me rest.

Chocoholic

What's wrong with me? I've always heard of 'once bitten twice shy'. But I dont seem to be able to grasp the full meaning of it. Same silly mistake I commited in the test previously was made again in today's paper. Same mistake for the same question. So much for once bitten twice shy. I need neurovision to strengthen the connection between my eyes and brain - so that 'glaucoma' wont look like 'inflammation', if they actually show any resemblence.

On a lighter note, I decided to cheer myself up with happy-hormones-of-a-chocolate-banana-in-a-cone from Hartos. Felt happier almost instantly, yay=)

My sis is hilarious. She burped at an ant and then turned around, pointed at it and revealed, "The ant fainted." For the most obvious reason.

I want a chocolate face mask. Supposedly relaxing, deep cleansing, prevents breakouts, removes excess oil, smells deliciously lovely. And edible. Heehh... Here's what I found...

This decadent mask is actually an excellent moisturizer -- it leaves your skin baby soft. Recommended for normal skin.
-1/3 cup cocoa powder
-3 tbsp. heavy cream
-2 tsp. cottage cheese
-¼ cup honey
-3 tsp. oatmeal
Mix all ingredients together (a bullet blender is ideal) and smooth onto face. Relax for ten 10 minutes, then wash off with warm water.

...I'd probably eat it before it gets onto my face.

I want some Irish liquor cream chocolate truffle.

Sundae

Met Aikky deary after church yesterday. Lunch at Manhattan Fishmarket was great, with great company, Aikky's church friends. Let's see if i can remember their names... Ziyao, Adora and Xiaoling? I'm quite bad at remembering names. =l Aikky and I then left for marinasquare 'cos the timing for Simpsons was like 2155 at PS...... yes, I've finally watched Simpsons =) But I was so tired I nearly fell asleep halfway. The movie was good laughs though... *spiderpig, spiderpig...* Haha..

Finally got my hands on some donut factory. Treat for my lovely family. But by the time i got home, apple cinnamon was tearing.
