Rainbow

I was on my way home from school

Feeling today quite weary and blue

Out on the road stood an array of 7 colours

It took my thoughts out of my fusses

Then in the vicinity of the beautiful bow

A secondary rainbow echoed after in tow

Tears welled up in my eye

Hoping that the moment won't pass me by

I felt God's loving embrace surrounding me

There for me He'll always be

"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth" -Genesis 9:16
