Child-like Innocence

Girl: Do you like lotus root?

Me: Yea, I like lotus soup.

Girl: I like my lotus root in my lotus soup.

It amazes me how little ones can talk about anything under the sun.

Have you ever looked at children playing and watch their innocence prevail.

They are so very vulnerable and this is why God's love will never fail.

God tell us to become like little children to understand His ways.

The openness of a child like heart will truly bless our days.

We need to become like little children in certain things that we might do.

Not having a secret agenda thinking that life for some reason owes you.

A child like heart of compassion will give you a brand new start.

This is necessary for God's salvation then you will be doing your part.

Don't let the world influence you with the wiles of temptation.

You see this lifestyle will not last and will be your final destination.

Take on a child like innocence in handling life's cares and woes.

As children will be perfectly honest showing you how life truly goes.

Take on a spirit of childishness, having fun along the way.

Have people eager to listen to you and what you have to say.

Share with them the joy and laughter it will make them feel so very warm.

They are also seeking God's love while they tackle their daily storm.

Children are fighting with each other one minute and playing the very next.

This is a good philosophy for us to remember so add it to your text.

God tell us to forgive one another just as He has forgiven each one of us.

Who are we not to forgive and obey God as He has said this is a must.

The purple hat.

We all went back for Tj alumni band prac last saturday. It has been such a long time since I last played my trumpet in Jan, until my valves were jammed stuck. Almost section-batch full force, other then for Sandy all were present. The company was great! :)

I heart Nina! :)

The star of the day... the purple hat that matched Lookit's shirt.

Nostalgia.

Yes, I'm still alive.

I've been spending my last 2 months at attachment - first month in the shop, second month in s'pore poly optometry centre.

Retail hours were really long and tiring. I hate doing sales. Working seems monotonous. But other than that, the staff there were nice and helpful, and made my internship there seem much easier. I learnt quite a number of things from them and got to experience how the current practice is like.

Attachment in spoc was more fun, with friends there. It was needless to say heavily clinical. And it was interesting to see patients, under the supervision of the clinicians. I saw more old people the first 2 weeks of seeing patients with their age-related changes to the eye and the third week, a couple of glaucoma suspects and kids.

It was a good experience on the whole. And...... I'm finally done with my attachment! Going for a quick getaway to Hong Kong this Tuesday to Friday.

Michelle and I will be playing a duet at a recital organised by our jazz piano teacher. Wont reveal what piece is it, but latin music lovers and friends, come support us on the 31st of may! So excited!! :))))

Thanks for all the tags! :)
