Cycling with Dad

Had a nice and relaxing cycling trip with Dad at East Coast. We went to the more ulu part, near the sailing club. Headed to lagoon for lunch. Laksa, wanton mee, sugar cane and fresh coconut =). And I sort of overheard this conversation between 2 foreigners and the hawker. The caucasian lady was asking the hawker for fork and knife when she ordered laksa! So cute. The hawker expained to her something which I figured was telling her that spoons are used instead. Heehee. =)

One More Week

Today marks the last week of hols. Good or bad, I cant decide, but I'm certainly enjoying my hols, because when school starts it's gonna be hectic! It has been a really good break. Kind of gotten used to the laid back lifestyle (am I'm lovin' every moment of it). Waking up late, or my ideal waking up time, has become such a norm that lectures at 8 seems such an ungodly hour! Maybe it really is. I'm sure many would agree with me. =)

self-potraits =)

Piggified Personified. Have been out pigging with Aidah ducky aka Automagic Champion aka my pigging out buddy! We had Gelare just last week. Pasta and a very nice apple crumble with chocolate overload. =) And today it was Fish & Co. Clam chowder, new york fish & chips for the both of us. Plus... fried calamari on top of that. Guess what the guy taking our orders commented... 'wow, that's alot!' *bursts into a bundle of hysterical laughter*

We were the reason

That He gave His life

We were the reason

That He suffered and died

To a world that was lost

He gave all He could give

To show us the reason to live

New Hair!

For the first time in ages... ... I woke up early today! *surprise surprise* 6.30AM instead of the 12.30pm norm! It all started with dear Eunice saying that she'll be joining our Dads for breakfast. At east coast. The plan turned out, however, to be spinnelli at habour front. But since I had already gotten up and ready, I decided to hitch a ride to east coast, bought macs and had breakfast by the beach, with a book, before blading.

my view

my blades =)

It was a really refreshing morning for me. Reading this book 'No Wonder They Call Him Saviour' and it's about the chronicles of the cross. Highly reccommended. I was thinking that there's no better time to read this book than the hours leading up to Good Friday. "When they hurled insults at Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. His reply, simply, 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.' No wonder they call Him the Saviour."

At the cross I bow my knee

Where Your blood was shed for me

There's no greater love than this

You have overcome the grave

Your glory fills the highest place

What can separate me now

Thank you dear Lord Jesus, for all that You've done for me, for Your redemptive sacrifice on the cross.
